The INTERGEO Conference reflects the INTERGEO motto "Inspiration for a smarter world" in all its facets. Current and future-oriented topics are at the heart of the extensive program.
The developments and possible applications of urban digital twins will feature prominently in the conference program. We also have our sights firmly set on the future of geoinformation management and look forward to numerous panel discussions with you. The importance of BIM for sustainable, climate- and resource-friendly construction continues to grow.
Transport infrastructures, but also supply and disposal infrastructures and in particular the handling of water in cities are of fundamental importance. The challenges of climate change can be monitored with the help of geo and earth observation data and used to manage climate adaptation measures at federal, state and local level. In this context, we are looking forward to the keynote speech by the Director of the German Aerospace Center, Dr. Walther Pelzer.
The German Cartography Congress (DKK) will once again be embedded in INTERGEO® in 2024. The DKK lecture program will be offered in compact form on Wednesday. A highlight will be the keynote speech by Prof. Frank Dickmann, who will speak on the current and exciting topic "Map and Brain - The Opportunities of Cognitive Science Findings for Cartography".
