RIEGL’s Ultimate LiDAR™ Technology offers a wide range of performance characteristics and serves as a platform for continuing Innovation in 3D for the LiDAR industry.
RIEGL traditionally uses INTERGEO as the event to launch their new products. This year in Stuttgart, RIEGL presented a range of highly innovative solutions and is thus meeting the constantly growing market requirements of advancing global digitalization with ever new, highly efficient solutions.
UAV-based Laser Scanning: RIEGL VUX-100²⁵ with RiLOC-F
RIEGL's latest VUX-Series sensor complements the wide range of UAV-based laser scanners by a version providing an extremely large field of view of 160 degrees for an extra wide area coverage. It is available as stand-alone laser scanner but also as fully integrated laser scanning system for UAV-based data acquisition.
In combination with RiLOC-F, RIEGL’s subsystem for localization and orientation including appropriate RIEGL software, a simplified user-friendly workflow for data acquisition but also for post-processing results in precisely aligned and consistent point clouds.
Terrestrial Laser Scanning: RIEGL VZ-4000i²⁵
Providing up to 4,600 meters measurement range, RIEGL’s long-range version scanner of their latest generation of professional terrestrial laser scanners stands for an increase in productivity, reliability in performance, extreme versatility and new forms of connectivity – resulting in an excellent return on investment.
The scanner is ideally suited for applications in mining and topography, but also in cultural and natural heritage documentation. Customized apps speed up the workflow in the field but also in post-processing. Specific scan routines and processing sequences can be pre-defined and enable initiating data acquisition, data processing and analyzing with a single click.
Airborne Laser Scanning: RIEGL VQ-1560 III-S
The cross-fire scan pattern and the wide operational range make RIEGL’s latest Dual Channel Waveform LiDAR Scanning System one of the most versatile airborne laser scanners on the market today. It is perfectly suited for any kind of application; from ultra-dense corridor mapping from low altitudes, over high-resolution city mapping with minimum shadowing effects in narrow street canyons, to large-scale wide area mapping at utmost efficiency.
