Important note:

Based on the Hamburg district court’s ruling of 12 May 1998 (312 O 85/98), creating a link to external websites results in co-responsibility for the content of such sites. The only way to prevent this is to expressly distance oneself from the relevant content.

The following therefore applies to all links on our website:
We hereby expressly declare that we have no influence whatsoever over the design or content of sites to which we have provided a link. HINTE Messe- und Ausstellungs-GmbH hereby expressly distances itself from all content of all linked sites and does not adopt their content as its own.

Data protection declaration

Declaration regarding data protection

This declaration informs you about the protection of your personal data when accessing HINTE’s website or ordering any information material.

We take your data protection very seriously. We want you to be aware when we collect which data and how we use it. We have implemented the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure that data protection regulations are upheld not only by ourselves, but also by any third-party service providers.

Personal data
Personal data refers to the information about a person that can be used to discover details related to his or her identity, such as name, address or telephone number. Information that cannot be attributed to a person’s identity (such as number of users accessing the site) does not fall into this category.

Accessing the website and ordering information material
You can use our online service entirely anonymously, without any need to reveal your identity.

If you order any information material, newsletters or brochures, we will ask for your name and any other personal information that is necessary to complete your request. You are free to decide whether you wish to submit this data, and we cannot accept any responsibility for its misuse by third parties. We save your information on specially protected servers in Germany. Access is restricted to just the few specially authorised persons who are responsible for maintaining these servers.

With regard to your usage, no data that could reveal your identity will be stored on our servers.

We reserve the right to perform statistical analyses of anonymous data.

Transfer of personal data to third parties
We will use the personal information you submit in respect of orders for information material only within the HINTE company. We will not pass any personal data on to third parties without your express permission.

Cookies are small data files that are used to identify regular patterns. Cookies do not contain any information about you, just a reference number.

Cookies are used on certain pages without us being able to inform you of this fact. Most browsers are configured to automatically allow cookies. However, you can block cookies or adjust your browser to immediately alert you to the transmission of any cookies.

Our website contains links to other websites. We have no control over the adherence of other providers to data protection regulations. We therefore do not assume any responsibility in relation to these links.

Protection of minors
Children and people under the age of 18 should not submit any personal data to us without the permission of their parents or legal guardians.

Log data will not be deleted, as this will continue to be needed for long-term analyses. The data recorded on the PC for dispatching brochures will be deleted upon completion of the request. Your customer order will be printed and held on file for a maximum of one year for research purposes, after which it will be destroyed.

General terms and conditions

HINTE Messe- und Ausstellungs-GmbH general terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to account registration and the purchase of goods by end customers (referred to below as “customers”) at the online shop provided by HINTE Messe- und Ausstellungs-GmbH, Bannwaldallee 60, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany (referred to below as the “vendor”) on the website www.intergeo.de (referred to below as “INTERGEO”).

1. Registration, newsletter

1.1 There is no need to register to make a purchase from INTERGEO. However, registration is necessary to enjoy all the benefits of INTERGEO. It is possible to register during the order process, but also without placing an order. Following registration, the vendor creates a customer account that customers can use to manage their customer data, such as the delivery address.

The account can be cancelled as detailed under point 9. The customer’s personal data will then be deleted immediately, unless the vendor is permitted or required by law to continue storing it. For further details, please see the vendor’s data protection declaration.

1.2 Only fully legally competent individuals who are of age (not, for example, families or married couples), legal entities and partnerships can register. The same applies to placing orders.

1.3 When registering an account, customers must give their full address details, including their e-mail address (= user name). The system generates a password and sends this to the customer with the confirmation e-mail. Customers shall guarantee that the details they give the vendor when registering are true and complete. If customers provide incorrect or incomplete details, the vendor shall be entitled to cancel and delete the customer account without notice.

1.4 By submitting the completed registration form, customers are making a binding offer to conclude the contract. Customers will be shown a summary of their entries prior to final submission of the registration form. They can correct errors by navigating back in their browser and changing the relevant entries.

1.5 Once the registration process has been completed, the vendor will send the relevant customer a welcome e-mail. The account registration contract shall enter into force when this e-mail is received by the customer.

1.6 Customers undertake to notify the vendor promptly of all future changes to the details provided during registration without being requested to do so.

1.7 Under no circumstances shall customers be entitled to pass on their access data, especially their password, to third parties. Should third parties nonetheless gain access to a customer account or should customers have other reasons to suspect their account is being misused, they must promptly notify the vendor and change their access data.

1.8 No (automatic) entitlement to register on and use INTERGEO exists.

1.9 Customers shall not be entitled to register several times on INTERGEO.

2. Contractual partners, conclusion of purchase contract and general obligations of purchaser

2.1 All products on INTERGEO are sold on behalf of and for the account of the vendor, with the exception of products relating to the INTERGEO conference, which are sold by DVW GmbH on its own behalf and for its own account. The general terms and conditions of DVW GmbH shall apply to such products. Suppliers will normally send items directly to the customer.

2.2 To initiate the order process, the purchaser must select the required goods (one or more products/articles) from a list. Before the final order for the contents of the basket is submitted, the full order will be displayed again, giving purchasers another chance to change their order. Purchasers make a binding purchase at the point they select and click the payment process.

2.3 Items offered on INTERGEO are normally sent to the purchaser. Purchasers shall only be entitled to collect purchased items from the vendor or the indicated supplier if this is expressly stipulated by the supplying party.

2.4 Goods shall remain the vendor’s property until full payment has been made. Die Ware bleibt bis zur vollständigen Bezahlung Eigentum des Verkäufers.

3. Payment methods

According to the ordering methods concerned, payment can be made by credit card (MasterCard/Eurocard, American Express or Visa), direct debit or bank transfer in advance. The prices stated in the online shop include any applicable statutory VAT. This is then stated separately in the invoice. The total price for the order, including all charges, is payable immediately upon completion of the contract. Payments made by credit card or direct debit are conducted by Heidelberger Payment GmbH, Vangerowstr. 18, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany. Please note that you can only take part in events once payment has been made. In case of international bank transfer, please ensure that the instruction is given to remit “the full payable sum in EUROS to the recipient” after any deductions.

4. Prices

The prices appearing on the product pages include statutory VAT and other price components.

5. Term, blocking and cancellation of account

5.1 The account registration contract shall run for an unlimited term.

5.2 Customers may cancel the account registration contract at any time without notice.

5.3 The vendor may cancel the account registration contract in the ordinary way by giving two weeks’ notice.

5.4 This shall be without prejudice to the right to cancel without notice for good cause. In particular, the vendor may cancel the account registration contract without notice if:
5.4.1 The customer deliberately provides incorrect information for the rating system,
5.4.2 The customer provides incorrect or incomplete registration details,
5.4.3 The customer repeatedly breaches other contractual obligations, even after being asked to stop doing so by the vendor.

5.5 If the vendor cancels the contract, the relevant customer shall not be entitled to set up a new account, even if this is under a different name or designation.

5.6 All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations by e-mail are deemed to be in writing.
