Three-day leading world trade fair in upbeat mood
Karlsruhe, 22 October 2009. For three days, geo experts from all over the world came together in Karlsruhe to find out about current trends, showcase innovations and participate in lively discussions at INTERGEO. “Geo is in!” – leading world trade fair exceeds expectations
Karlsruhe, 25 September 2009. With over 16,000 visitors, a further rise in the proportion of international visitors to a total of 22 per cent and 1,450 congress participants, INTERGEO 2009 has come to a close yesterday after three highly successful days in Karlsruhe. Intergeo 2009 Announces a Media Partnership with GISCafe

WORLD RECORD-BREAKER AT INTERGEO 2009: Largest children’s map of the world to be unveiled in Karlsruhe / Exhibition of world maps featuring numerous world firsts
Karlsruhe, 15 September 2009. The map of the world on display at INTERGEO in Karlsruhe from 22 to 24 September is a favourite addition to children’s bedrooms, due to its lovingly crafted, finely detailed images. INTERGEO 2009: Young talent to the fore at INTERGEO
Karlsruhe, 9 September 2009. When this year’s INTERGEO opens its doors in Karlsruhe, Germany, on 22 September, over 200 geodesy students from outside Germany will be among the visitors. Together with their fellow students from Germany, they will be holding the first international “Students Meeting” at the leading international trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation and land management, under the patronage of the German Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management (DVW) and the CLGE (Council of European Geodetic Surveyors). more

BMWi promotes Innovation Park and Open Source Park for the first time Exhibitors from a record number of countries Karlsruhe, 13 August 2009. INTERGEO is not only the leading world trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation and land management - the congress trade fair will also be a presentation platform for innovative start-up companies. For the first time, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) is promoting the joint presentation of the Open Source Park (OSP) along with ten companies. As well as the OSP, INTERGEO also helps improve entry to the market for start-ups through the Innovation Park. more
